A load of completely useless facts about me!

Our beautiful plum tree, taken with my Canon 450D. (AKA rebel xsi in the USA)

(an idea borrowed from a note going around on Facebook...Instead of 25 random things about me, I have 30! I know, I'm a REBEL!!!)

  1. I have the most wonderful family in the world!

  2. I'm afraid of heights.

  3. I don't like working the day shift. When I got the call that my mother had passed away, I had gone to bed early because I was supposed to work early the next day. Now I can't go to sleep early, because I associate going to sleep early with losing my Mom.

  4. I'm shy, and I don't make friends easily.

  5. I love chocolate!

  6. I love my puppy, Ebby! (Even of she eats all my potted plants...)

  7. I'm always tired.

  8. I'm adopted.

  9. I used to ALWAYS say yes, but I'm getting better at saying no.

  10. I found my birthmother, and am looking for my birthfather.

  11. BUT...I'm afraid of what I might find, so my search is pretty lame.

  12. I love the internet.

  13. I'm good at my job, but I'm a little too sensitive for it sometimes. I don't have a problem with blood and stuff, it's the emotions that get to me, like when someone is dying and alone.

  14. Sometimes I think I'm crazy, sometimes I think I might have a brain disorder that makes my memory suck, and sometimes I think I have Attention Deficit Disorder.

  15. I used to want to be a cop, astronaut, and a teacher. (Not at the same time)

  16. I struggle with feelings of abandonment, as most adoptees do.

  17. I did not turn out as my parents wanted me to turn out.

  18. I want to see as much of the world as possible.

  19. I love watching movies!

  20. I want to get a boob job.

  21. I still have a lot of things I need/want to acomplish.

  22. Since my Mom passed away, lots of people in the town I live in think it's OK to ask personal questions about how much money I inherited. They also ask how much money our vacations cost, how we can afford things, etc. It really pisses me off.

  23. I want to open a smoothie & healthy muffins/cookies café.

  24. One of my kids is dyslexic.

  25. I get nightmares if I sleep more than 4 hours at a time.

  26. I believe in the afterlife.

  27. I have few friends, but the friends I have are the BEST!!!

  28. There are some things I miss since I moved from America to Sweden: American football, Thanksgiving, over-the-top Christmas (and other holiday) decorations, Costco, Taco Bell, Borders, Eggo waffles, a McDonalds on every corner, a broad variety of healthy fast-food places, killer salad bars, Chef Boyardee, huge movie theaters, Hershey's Kisses, Trader Joes, a great variety of products in grocery stores, Wonder bread, Target, The Pacific Ocean, Venice Beach, bagels with whipped cream cheese, Soup Plantation, and much much more. I do love Sweden too, though!

  29. My strongest subject in school was English, my weakest was math. When I got my GED, my scores were over the 90th percentile for all subjects, meaning I was at least in the top 10, except for math. In math, my scores were BELOW average. Go figure.

  30. I love chicken and hamburgers way too much to become a vegetarian. But handling raw meat disgusts me to the point where I can't eat it if I've touched it raw.
